On 10th of December, the members of CSD International attended an Annual Thematic Event - Corporate Sustainability: Putting Standards into Practice, which was organized by Global Compact Network Georgia and Civil Development Agency (CIDA).
The event was opened by Erik Illes, Head of Development Cooperation and Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy of Sweden. He discussed why CSR is important and why government of Sweden supports different projects around topics of corporate sustainability. Later a panel discussion was held, where international speakers from Italy, Sweden and Germany talked about global perspectives and challenges of Corporate Sustainability.
